Many thanks to The Saturn Road Church of Christ in Garland, Texas for the red carpet rollout. To Cecilia Bingham, Trey Laminack, the parents and the kids for their warm welcome and appreciation of the performances by Cheyenne, Bois D’Arc, Skidboot-PeeWee and yours truly, David. We had a wonderful time and look forward to seeing y’all again. Special thanks to the young girl in the audience for laughing at my corny jokes and keeping me inspired.
Did anybody happen to find the shovel I left just outside the door. It was waiting there, ready to go into action if Cheyenne happened to go into action. Fortunately, nature did not call . . . unfortunately we forgot all about the shovel.

Early in December we went to Hugo, Oklahoma Elementary School. Thank you to Shelly Moffat and Hugo Elementary for being so hospitable to myself and Little Skidboot and Bois d’Arc and, of course, Cheyenne, the lie-detector. The kids were great, the teachers were great and, of course, the parents were too. Thanks for giving us a chance to practice with Skidboot’s follow-up stars.

New Year’s Eve we went to a lock-in at Faith Fellowship Church in Athens, Texas. We were sponsored by Adron Neill. He has been a big influence on Skidboot’s career and he likes the kindness approach towards animal handling. I hope we didn’t (don’t) let him down. Thanks Adron! Jeff Godwin was the pastor and his words encouraged us a great deal. All the teens and grownups were great. Thanks again for inviting Skidboot’s follow-up stars.

The puppies are out of a nephew to Skidboot and an ABCA Registered Border Collie. There’s 5 boys and 4 girls. 2 brindles and white, 1 light brown and white, 6 black and white. All have lots of color with collars and masks. They were born January 13, 2007. Get them while they last for $250. This is Brenda’s third litter and I’ve had people say “they didn’t know dogs could be this smart!”
All of the pups have new homes! Check back for when another litter of Skidboot’s kin is in the making.
